Mr. David Caston is the Chief Executive Officer of Reeves Memorial Medical Center. David has served as the CEO of RMMC on two separate occasions. Once from November 2013 to December 2017 and from May 2019 to current. Prior to working at RMMC, David served in a variety of healthcare administrative positions including Vice President of Clinical Services at Lincoln General Hospital and three years as the Assistant CEO of Northern Louisiana Medical Center. In that capacity he was responsible for eight hospital departments, the hospital physician network, physician recruitment, and overall operations of the hospital. David also spent five years in senior level management positions with the VA Hospital in Birmingham where he served on numerous national and regional committees. With extensive senior level healthcare experience in both hospital and physician practice operations, David brings a great understanding of the healthcare industry.
David holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University in Business while also playing collegiate golf for two years. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Medical Group Management Association.
David is native of Louisiana and is very active within the local community. David’s board memberships include Ashlar Medical, Louisiana Tech University Alumni Association, Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and Ruston Dixie Baseball Board of Directors. David serves as an active deacon of his church, Sunday School teacher, and loves coaching youth baseball. David is married to Elaine and has two children, Kelly and Kyle.
