At RMMC, we know that exceptional patient experiences are created by every member of our team. We enjoy celebrating their outstanding work. If a team member’s actions made a positive impact on you or a family member, please take a moment to nominate that person for one of the following awards: The Daisy Award for extraordinary nurses; The BEE Award for exceptional hospital team members; and The HIVE Award our outstanding volunteers.
Award winners and nominees will be recognized as part of our Hospital Week celebration each May.
The DAISY Award
The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the auto-immune disease ITP in 1999. During his hospitalization, they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family. When he died, they felt compelled to say “thank you” to nurses in a very public way. To learn more, visit DAISYFoundation.org.
The BEE Award
The Reeves Memorial Medical Center BEE Award – Being Excellent Every day recognizes non-nursing and support team members who provide exceptional care, service, and support to our patients, families, and fellow employees.
At RMMC, we know that exceptional patient experiences are created by every member of our team. Employees from departments such as Environmental Services, Dietary, Admissions, Maintenance, Therapy, Imaging, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Clinic Support, and other support areas may be nominated for the BEE Award.
Nominations may be submitted by patients, families, physicians, visitors, and fellow employees who have witnessed an employee going above and beyond in their service to others.
The HIVE Award
At Reeves Memorial Medical Center, our volunteers play an important role in supporting our patients, families, employees, hospital, and community. Whether serving within the hospital, assisting with special events, supporting community outreach, or contributing their time and talents in other ways, our volunteers make a meaningful difference every day.
The RMMC HIVE Award – Heart, Integrity, Volunteerism & Excellence is a special way to honor volunteers who demonstrate an extraordinary level of dedication and exceptional service to Reeves Memorial Medical Center.
Nominations are accepted throughout the year. Patients, families, employees, fellow volunteers, physicians, visitors, and community members are encouraged to nominate a volunteer they believe is deserving of this special recognition.
